  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Make the Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool slightly.
  3. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, whisk brown sugar, flour, and baking powder. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans and toffee bits.
  4. Assemble and Bake: Pour the filling over the cooled crust. Bake for 25 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  5. Cool and Serve: Let the bars cool in the pan, then use the parchment overhang to lift them out. Cut into bars once completely cooled.
