For the meatballs:
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice

For the pasta bake:
- 1 pound penne pasta, cooked al dente
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the meatballs. Form into small balls.
- Brown the Meatballs: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large baking dish, mix the cooked penne with the sauce and meatballs. Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve and Enjoy: Let the bake rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
