- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (15.25 oz) box white cake mix
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Oven and Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking dish.
- Layer the Pie Filling: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly at the bottom of the dish.
- Add Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract, then drop spoonfuls over the pie filling.
- Top With Cake Mix: Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top. Do not stir.
- Drizzle the Butter: Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling bubbles.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
