Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Create the Cake Base: In a bowl, combine the cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1 egg. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of your lined pan.
  3. Add the Caramel Layer: Pour the salted caramel sauce over the prepared cake base, spreading it gently to cover.
  4. Mix the Cream Cheese Topping: Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Blend in the eggs, vanilla, and 1/4 cup melted butter. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar until the mixture is smooth.
