- 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish.
- Cook Ravioli: Boil the ravioli as per the package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Brown the Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Combine Sauce: Mix the marinara sauce into the cooked beef.
- Mix Cheeses: In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
- Layer the Casserole: Spread half the meat sauce in the baking dish, top with half the ravioli, spread the cheese mixture, then the remaining ravioli, and finally the rest of the meat sauce.
- Add Cheese and Season: Sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Bake Covered: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let sit for a few minutes before serving to let the layers set.
