  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish.
  2. Cook Ravioli: Boil the ravioli as per the package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Brown the Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Combine Sauce: Mix the marinara sauce into the cooked beef.
  5. Mix Cheeses: In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  6. Layer the Casserole: Spread half the meat sauce in the baking dish, top with half the ravioli, spread the cheese mixture, then the remaining ravioli, and finally the rest of the meat sauce.
  7. Add Cheese and Season: Sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake Covered: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden.
