- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
- Combine Base Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the chicken, sour cream, soup, milk, one cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble in Dish: Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared dish.
- Prepare Topping: In another bowl, blend the crushed crackers with melted butter and scatter over the chicken mixture.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining half cup of cheddar cheese on top.
