- 8 oz pasta (such as fusilli or penne)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Prepare pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Crisp the Bacon: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Brown the Beef: Using the same skillet, add ground beef and onion, cooking until beef is thoroughly browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Garlic: Incorporate garlic into the skillet, cooking until aromatic, about one minute.
- Combine Ingredients: Reduce heat to low. Stir in Alfredo sauce, cooked pasta, half of the bacon, and cheddar cheese until the cheese melts and the mixture is hot.
- Season: Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the remaining bacon, pickles, and parsley over the top before serving.
