Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Cooked pasta or crusty bread, for serving
Instructions
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil.
- Sauté Garlic and Pepper: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant but not browned, about 1 minute.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until they start to turn pink.
- Add Wine and Lemon: Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and let cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
- Season and Serve: Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately over cooked pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
