Instructions
- Combine Liquid Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Add Thickener: Sprinkle in the cornstarch and stir until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Incorporate Aromatics: Mix in the garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili paste if using, until everything is well combined.
- Store or Use: Transfer the sauce to a jar or airtight container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Ready to Cook: Use the sauce in your stir fry recipes. Just heat it in a pan with your chosen ingredients until the sauce thickens and coats everything nicely.
