Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into small cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Additional grated Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Season Steak Bites: Generously season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Sear Steak: In a large skillet over high heat, heat olive oil. Add steak bites in a single layer, cooking in batches to avoid overcrowding. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Cook Garlic: Lower heat to medium, add garlic to the skillet, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Make Sauce: Add butter to the skillet, melt with the garlic, then pour in heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Add Cheese and Thyme: Stir in Parmesan and thyme, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine and Serve: Return steak bites to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and heat through. Garnish with additional Parmesan and thyme.
