- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat Oil and Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Cook Shrimp: Increase heat to medium-high, add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until pink.
- Add Liquids and Season: Pour in chicken broth, white wine, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Finish with Butter: Stir in butter until melted and combined into a glossy sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley and grated Parmesan. Serve hot, ideally over linguine or with crusty bread.
