- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs with melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form a crust. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
- Mix the Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture is smooth and has thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Layer the Pudding: Spread the pudding evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
- Add Whipped Topping: Carefully spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Top with Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Chill to Set: Place the dessert in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or until it is fully set.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, cut into squares and serve chilled.
