Crispy Baked Crab Rangoons

Crispy Baked Crab Rangoons

This recipe is sure to be a hit at your next event or even just a special treat for yourself.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Makes 24 rangoons 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup crab meat, finely chopped (can use canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare Wontons: Lay the wonton wrappers flat on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture into the center of each wrapper.
  4. Form Rangoons: Moisten the edges of each wrapper with a bit of water, then bring the corners together to form a pyramid or purse shape, pressing the edges to seal.
  5. Bake: Place the rangoons on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crisp.
  6. Serve: Enjoy hot, served with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite soy sauce-based dipping sauce for an extra flavor kick.
