- 2 large chicken breasts, grilled and sliced
- 1 loaf focaccia bread, cut into sandwich-sized pieces
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Fresh mozzarella slices
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze
- Olive oil for brushing
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the Panini Press: Preheat your panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Start with a slice of focaccia. Layer on the grilled chicken slices, tomato slices, and fresh mozzarella. Add basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Season with salt and pepper. Top with another piece of focaccia.
- Brush and Grill: Lightly brush the outside of the focaccia with olive oil. Place the sandwich in the panini press. Grill until the focaccia is toasted and the cheese has melted, typically about 4-5 minutes.
- Serve Warm: Once cooked, remove from the press, cut into halves or quarters, and serve immediately.
