Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 1 package (16 oz) bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (32 oz) package frozen tater tots
  • 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large casserole dish.
  2. Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing mix. Mix in the cooked chicken and half the bacon until well coated.
  3. Layer Tots: Arrange a layer of frozen tater tots at the bottom of the casserole dish.
  4. Add Chicken Mixture: Spread the chicken mixture over the first layer of tater tots.
  5. Top Off: Add another layer of tater tots. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and the remaining bacon.
  6. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving to let the layers set for easy serving.
