- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 1 package (16 oz) bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (32 oz) package frozen tater tots
- 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
- 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large casserole dish.
- Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing mix. Mix in the cooked chicken and half the bacon until well coated.
- Layer Tots: Arrange a layer of frozen tater tots at the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Add Chicken Mixture: Spread the chicken mixture over the first layer of tater tots.
- Top Off: Add another layer of tater tots. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and the remaining bacon.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving to let the layers set for easy serving.
