- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup rice cereal
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool slightly.
- Create the Caramel Fudge Layer: In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Heat over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour over the crust. Drizzle with ½ cup caramel sauce.
- Add the Crunch Topping: Sprinkle rice cereal and chopped pecans over the caramel layer. Press them gently into the fudge. Drizzle with the remaining ¼ cup caramel sauce.
- Chill to Perfection: Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Slice and Serve: Cut into bars and serve chilled.
