    • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
    • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for topping
    • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Start by heating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Meatballs: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake Meatballs: Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Cook Spaghetti: Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti according to package instructions until just under al dente. Drain well.
  5. Layer Ingredients: In a large baking dish, start by layering half the spaghetti, followed by half the marinara sauce, half the meatballs, and half the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  6. Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
