Cheesy Meat lasagna garlic bread and salad
A simple-to-make Cheesy Meat lasagna garlic bread and salad. Accompanied by a generous helping of cheesy garlic bread and green salad.
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 pound mild Italian sausage
36 oz Preggo traditional sauce (or whatever spaghetti sauce you prefer)
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 large yellow onion (chopped)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
16 oz ricotta
8 oz sour cream
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 cup chopped spinach
1 Box Lasagna noodles
2 cup of sharp cheddar cheese (shredded from block)
1 cup of mozzarella cheese
(shredded from block)
6 slices of provolone cheese (halved)
1 package of pepperoni (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Prepare noodles as directed on the back of the box. Cook until al dente. Once done set them aside.
Place ground beef and sausage in a large hot skillet. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain meat and set aside.
In the same pan, you cooked your meat in add your diced onions and sauteed them for about 2 minutes on medium heat.
Add your diced tomatoes to the pan. Next, add your meat back to the pan.
Add your sauce and stir it. Add your seasonings and sugar.
Let simmer for about 10 minutes. In a bowl mix your ricotta mixture all together.
In your baking pan add some of your meat sauce to coat it.
Then add 4 noodles, add a layer of ricotta mixture, add some shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese.
And a couple of pieces of provolone cheese, add a layer of pepperoni. Repeat layers one more time. Lay another layer of noodles on top and top it with meat sauce and more shredded cheese.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Bake for 40 minutes covered. Uncover it and cook it for 10 more minutes. Let it cool for about 15-20 minutes before cutting!
