Loaded sliced baked potatoes
These Baked Potato slices are topped with melted cheese and crispy bacon, baked to golden perfection and served with sour cream.
I’ve been making these for years, and they are delicious.
They are definitely better in the oven than from the microwave.
I always make extra because the left-overs are good too!
This is a delicious side dish that is easy to assemble, has simple ingredients, and the best part – it is real food.
4 Tbs butter, melted
4-5 green onions, chopped
1 cup grated cheese of your choice
4 strips of cooked bacon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Slice potatoes about ¼” thick and brush both sides of potato slices with butter.
place them on a cookie sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once.
When potatoes are ready, top with bacon, cheese, green onion.
continue baking until the cheese has melted.
Add some sour cream.
